Dave was born and raised in Harrison, Arkansas where he was the middle of five children. Growing up, Dave spent many years being homeschooled and worked vigorously in his family’s restaurant. In the last decade and a half, Dave has lived and worked in the Branson area. Before becoming a REALTOR®, he was employed by Johnny Morris at Big Cedar Lodge where he spent many years in the food and beverage department, managing the Buzzard Bar Restaurant and Devil’s Pool Restaurant from 2004-2017.
In 2015, he attended classes at Lifetime Learning’s Real Estate and Appraisal School in Springfield, Missouri and became a licensed REALTOR®. In 2016 he graduated from the Local Leadership Academy and was involved with the Community Outreach Committee. In 2017, Dave served as a Tri-Lakes Board Member and has went on to hold many other positions throughout that organization. He has served as the Finance Chair, Elections Committee Chair, Governing Docs Chair, and twice as Community Outreach Chair. He has also served as part of the RPAC committee and is an RPAC investor. In 2019, he graduated from the Missouri REALTORS® State Leadership Academy. Dave served as the President of the Tri-Lakes Board of Realtors in 2022 and was named the 2022 REALTOR® of the Year.
Dave met his wife, Libby, working at Big Cedar Lodge. They dated for a year and he found himself so smitten! He proposed to her in 2011 at Silver Dollar City in front of the giant Christmas tree. They married in February of 2013 and had their first baby girl in December of 2016. In 2019, they welcomed another baby girl. Dave cannot believe how much his heart grew when he became a parent.
